Ray’s comments: Uluru, or Ayer’s Rock, at sunset, when the colours change even more quickly and dramatically than they do during the day. As the sun goes down, the Rock goes through various stages of deep reds, then dark blues and finally it turns deep violet-black as night descends. Even after dark it seems to glow.
